I still don't get the hate for Milner personally. He did kind of leave us in a tricky situation in the sense that we needed to fill the homegrown quota urgently but surely the powers that be knew he'd need replacing when contract talks were going nowhere.

he ran his contract down enabling him to get a big signing on fee, while i can understand his greed he also stopped the club from getting any money for him, we could of had 15,ooo,ooo towards another player. bottom line is, there is no loyalty in football, so fuck him

I don't know how many times people need to explain this fact(not forgetting he ran the contract down while keeping us dangling.....) and while some obviously consider that an acceptable way to behave,others,myself included,have a problem with such deceptive conduct.

It doesn't matter,and i couldn't care less which opinion you hold,but that is the reason for the ill feeling,and the reason why he isn't held in high esteem,from much of our support........not that it would bother the greedy,thick skinned fucker.

His best position is as far away from CM as possible.

He hasn't been missed at all. We replaced him with Sterling, who's contributed much more and will for years to come.

The only thing we've missed is his versatility.

We weren't as poor with him
Quite simple really
Options, movement for YaYa and Silva, miles better than Navas with delivery from the right, and also better defensively
Everytime we've played Fernado or Navas in a game he could have played we have been weaker
So that's why we've missed him

No you have missed him apparently - I haven't because he isn't a game changer in any circumstances.

Lol I love how people just wanted the £15m towards another player. Would have helped with FFP but it's not like we really needed the money, we are well within it at the moment and he's off the wage bill, he saw out his contract and went to another club where he would have a better chance of keeping a spot in his favored position nothing sly about it for me. As I've said before he knows what the dippers are like so just because he's not kissing our asses in the media doesn't mean he doesn't care about City or believes any of the dippers delusions.
