Perfectly reasonable suggestions imo.

Realistic though? Casillas and Baines in January really?

Well Ancelotti is backing Diego Lopez so there's a possibility.

Baines I think will provide a necessary boost and momentum for the 2nd half of the season,

If you take your attitude we won't sign anybody which means we'll end up with the same issues all season, and there's no point in anything other than the best being brought in.

Caballero? Begovic? and that's going to inspire anybody how?

From greatest need to least IMO: LB, GK, CB, D/CM

Probably knock one or two of those out in Jan., if we're lucky.

Casillas
Baines

Summer

Shaw(to remain at So'ton for another season).
Reus
World class CB
World class DM
Barkley(to remain at Everton for another season).

Haha Reus?
Why would he move to a club where he would be behind David Silva and would have to rotate with Nasri, Navas and Milner. Incredible. Go play more FIFA.

He wouldn't though.

Jan:
GK: Caballero or Casillas or Begovic
LB: Baines

Summer:
CB: Mangala
DM: Gundogan

Sell Lescott, Kolarov, Garcia, Dzeko (Sinclair, Barry) ...Hart?

------------------Casillas------------------

Zaba--Kompany--Mangala--Baines

----------------Gundogan---------------

----------Yaya-----Fernandinho-------

----Nasri-------Aguero-------Silva----

Quite a few players not getting a look in at the moment, the most obvious being Lescott, Richards, Milner and Jovetic. If Hart gets dropped as well, as I suspect he may, then that'll be 4 of our home grown quota of 8 in something of a limbo land. If Pellers is looking to move any of them on, and Lescott looks an obvious case in point, then will it have an impact on who we can get in? If we let an English player go, are we gonna have to get one in to keep us compliant with the home grown regs, and if so, you can forget about Mangala, Gundagon, Reus and so forth

Richards was trusted to start against Bayern so I think the manager may have at least some faith in him. I'd like to think that over the course of the season he will make a decent number of appearances.

I wouldn't worry too much about Milner, he's appeared in 7 of our 9 league games (albeit only starting 3) and unless he's completely frozen out I think he'll stick around.

Lescott will almost certainly be moved on. As for Hart and his possible replacement, it's worth remembering that Asmir Begovic has 'home grown' status...

We don't want to replace Joe Hart, we want competition for him. Whether he wins or loses that competition is up to him, but either way, we end up with a better keeper than we have currently.
