I can pretty much confirm that no contact offers have been made to deneyar and that he wants to stay at city but is weighing up his options due to nothing being on the table yet.

Cheers Jonny I hope you're right, I agree with @CityFan94 that we need this kid I just wanted to know if anyone has heard anything.

This guy (Belgian journalist, supposedly close to Denayer's camp) says Denayer plans to start pre-season at City. Lets hope he signs that new deal then...

Wasn't he always due, to start pre season with us? What's worrying is he still hasn't signed a deal. Don't want another Milner drag on situation ESP since Rekik is already gone.

Might get in trouble for releasing sensitive information like that.

His agent has just said we are miles apart in the contract negotiations. Doesn't sound overly positive! We need to sign this kid up.

The agent has clarified the situation further on Thursday by indicating that the main sticking point is over the opportunities Denayer, the Scottish PFA Young Player of the Year, will get to play in the City first-team. He told Het Nieuwsblad: "What [Eliaquim] Mangala and [Martin] Demichelis can do, Jason can do that as well. "We are negotiating a five-year contract deal. But Manchester City have to show us that he will get the possibility to integrate into the starting XI." - See more at: https://www.clubcall.com/manchester...lis---agent-1774465.html#sthash.ieNuUU9T.dpuf
