Did well tonight.

Also his determination to be interviewed in English is to be admired.

Yeah seems like he has every intention of sticking around. Genuinely don't get why anyone would boo him, seems a hardworking professional, reliable, content and comes across as likeable.

I've been on Javi's case as much as anybody, but he's done ok in the last few performances. He still has the odd brain fart, but you can only ever judge a player by his current form and he's done well recently. Keep it up Javi.

Not his biggest fan, but he did his job well tonight and looks better when playing back to back games. Big praise to him for his interview on the o/s web page for speaking English, its better than my Welsh, well done lad.

Still looks very nervous every game and the PL is just way too fast for him - maybe the club could send him off for some personal fitness training with Linford Christie!! He's just doesn't look like he can get going at all - feel for him, obviously trying his best but some City fans are booing him before he even steps on the pitch, no wonder he's shitting himself all the time!! ....

The learning English is a big thing for me. Never really rated him, BUT... if he's willing to knuckle down, learn the language and put a shift in, the DM role could become "his' position. Not needed in every game especially at home, but that 20 mins away where we shut up shop etc..

The language thing is a huge thing to take on, well done Javi, prove me wrong, please.

hes a good squad player, good enough to sit on the bench and we can bring him on when we need to protect a lead. no point of getting rid of him, we need a midfielder who is very defensive, sort of like De Jong was for us.if we get another cm, then hes a good 4th choice cm.

Guys doing alright I must admit, the mistakes he become known for making have pretty much gone out of his game. He makes as many/few mistakes as anyone else on our team lately it's just, like with say Kolarov we are all waiting for it and hound him the second it happens were as others can get away with it.

Certainly I'd be looking to unload those in the physio room party before him.
