I noticed he hasn't got a clue what to do when there's a counter attack for the other team. There were occasions today when it happened and one time he ran back with the back four and allowed them to advance dozens of metres up the pitch unchallenged, then on another two occasions he ran too far forward and got past around because of his lack of pace.

He needs to learn how to read the game better like Fernandinho and Barry does.

That's my my only gripe today though. One of his better performances all round today. Thought he was our best player in that half an hour spell (45-75mins) in the second half when we were struggling to get things going.

Garcia playing allows Zabba and Kolarov to bomb forward, he reads the game well so is there to cover and disrupt without fouling, the role gets no credit from City fans whatsoever. Seems strange Pellegrini disagrees with so many football geniuses on here.

Well summed up, I was delighted with his performance today.

Hope this is a sign of things to come for the rest of the season.

Sorry mate but signing for us and earning the right to wear the shirt are two different things in my book. Most games he's played in I've watched pass him by, but glad to say he did well today.
