Credit where credit's due, Javier has played better of late and today was his best performance for City to date.

Garcia showed a different side to himself in the second half today. Got much more involved than he usually does and moved the ball around with imagination and ambition. Well done.

Garcia playing allows Zabba and Kolarov to bomb forward, he reads the game well so is there to cover and disrupt without fouling, the role gets no credit from City fans whatsoever. Seems strange Pellegrini disagrees with so many football geniuses on here.

Think this is going to become known as the "Gareth Barry" syndrome.

Sadly not many understand what a vital role this position is. Absolutely crucial.
