Thought he was very good tonight. I'm shocked. Came to a realisation I think....he can't be a DM because he is better with the ball than without. Maybe he is meant to be a link between attack and defence more than a destructive player. Baffles me but fair play tonight.

Thought he's been decent enough in the last 2 games. Showed a bit of bite in a few challenges that has previously been absent. He put a couple of challenges in against cardiff and I thought to myself that maybe he just might be getting the hang of things. Still got it all to prove yet though

I have been highly critical of Garcia as many of us have and I am realising that I am not a football manager because of my shite judgement.
Can I just say he has been fantastic over the past few games.
Well done Javi

credit to MP he is certainly getting the best out of the players garcia , kolarov , nasri , dzeko have all improved , sign of a great manager.

Yes looked fine tonight other than one occasion where an attacker ran past him and he grabbed again. Shame about his lack of pace as I can see an improvement in the other areas I was concerned about.

Boyata was even ok....is Pelle a miracle worker?......should we keep Sinclair?!

He's actually getting better game by game. I never thought I'd actually say that. Think he's due a rest himself soon ;)

Good on Saturday with Toure and good again tonight with Fernandinho. He keeps it simple and now seems to pass the ball on much faster. He's always been able to tackle, just sometimes he gives away daft fouls which lead to freekicks. The last few games he's stopped doing this and coupled with the rest of his game he's looking more like the player we expected when he joined us. If only Rodwell and Jovetic can realise their potential and Micah can sustain his fitness and regain his form then we'll have a great squad for the season run in.

He actually gave a Cardiff player a two yard start and still caught up to him to win the ball back.
