Once everyone is fit (if that ever happens) I'd really like us to try out a midfield 5 of Garcia, Yaya, Fernandinho, Nasri and Silva. Someone ales mentioned it and I think there is a lot of potential there.

I like this idea, it gives Yaya the option to move forward quickly and murder defences.

Guy is now looking a player, was my MOM in Chelsea FA cup tie. In a 5 with Fernandinho holding and Yaya, Silva and Nasri advanced but behind Aguero would be a line up I'd love to see.

He really adds quite a lot when slotted in front of the back line. Provides excellent transition work which is a key in this system I think. Seems to free up both Yaya and Kompany to be much more active, wide-ranging and involved.

I wonder (as some others do) if more use could be made of him with Yaya and Ferny in a midfield 3. Especially in times like these when we can't keep our strikers all healthy. One striker plus two from Silva/Navas/Nasri and the midfield 3? Would like to see this tried.

Just one Blue's opinion, but it seemed to me that the "light" went on for Garcia in the second half of Bayern away. As if he picked up the system well at that point. Since then, it seems like his performances have been very strong (Chavs last week, Cardiff, and Palarse in particular.)

Along with Kolarov, and Nasri these are the three guys who were all but written off a year ago that have turned into vital and extremely productive components under Pellers. It is this ability Pellers seems to have to make best use of existing resources that has really been our secret weapon. Compare, for example, Maureen basically running the second-best player on that club onto the bench and then off to the rags.

If, and given luck to date it's a big if, we can field that 5 in midfield. The ability to shield an at times suspect defence, and movement and power we'd have upfront could be really interesting. These away games. Liverpool, Arsenal, Rags start to me to look winnable....even Barca?

Was great in a midfield 3 against Chelsea away (albeit we lost, but he was my man of the match that day). Not always going to be suited to every opposition/tactical set-up but a good player to have in our squad nevertheless.

He was my MotM that day as well and I think he would have actually won it had people not been soured on him from previous experiences. If he can be the quiet holding midfielder that's good in possession that Big Nige was then I think I'll be completely satisfied.

Definately the most improved player we have. A true pro who brings a lot to the squad, never complains and I suspect he is going to play a vital role before this season is finished.
For all the quality that Ya Ya possesses, there are times that Garcia and Fernandinho need to play together.
Whether that means Ya Ya gets left out or plays elsewhere is a matter for elsewhere but flexibility may be needed.
