he has no pace you know. just not fast enough for our team. not good enough for where we want to go. no pace, no speed, too slow...and in the spain squad.and second in the league with city,playing in a midfield responsible for screening a defence which has 12 clean sheets out of 14 games....

for those who want speed merchants in our midfield go and watch newcastle united,they have so much pace and are just above the relegation trapdoor.

That was my initial thought too.

Del Bosque obviously hasn't a clue when it comes to managing.

After all, he's only won the World Cup and Euros in charge of Spain.

Whether he has been called up to the Spanish squad is irrelevant as far as I'm concerned, even if he scored a hat trick for them it's of no use to us. All that matters is what he does for city. Tomorrow would be a good place to start showing he may have a future with us.
