Although it's always fun to blame Garcia, he was definetly no worse than most on display today. the entire team was giving it away for fun and even the supposed "creative" players looked completely unthreatening. Playing him alongside two fullbacks that offer absolutely no attacking threat seems like an obvious mistake, puts far too much pressure on the front 5 to do everything themselves (although I'd blame the fullbacks more for that, as they are really supposed to be offering attacking support)
Post match thread is a separate one altogether.

This is to discuss the players individual performance, deflecting away from it says a lot.

Haha he threw this one out there at half time, doesn't bring any form of defence forward for him, just another bullshit statistic.

You said he kept losing the ball. That he can't pass forwards.

Making it a very relevant statistic.

Yeah, no I didn't, the guy you were replying to wasn't me. I was just putting forward that you're defending him regardless of the situation. Which is quite obvious when you look at his performance against Blackburn.

Sorry if I misquoted you, SENT FROM TAPATALK ;)

But he doesn't pass and move he just passes and then ,like I said before, lollops off somewhere. He is never on his toes just strolling around

Its not fair to blame him for this result.

He is a defensive midfielder, therefore he is not responsible that our team couldn't score today from opening play against a Championship team.

That was about his play, obviously in the context of the match and team. I apologise that I actually linked my opinions to something rather than just a random statement slagging him off

But it's fair to point out that he isn't good enough , there's no argument there he just isnt

Pointless to play him in games where we dominate possession. Offers nothing going forward. Not his fault he got picked, but same as against Palace. Slows the attack down, barely ventures past the half way line even when nothing is coming in the other direction. Waste of a space in these games. Lopes out wide and Milner in the centre would be infinitely better.
