Simple question to NQ. Do you think Garcia is good enough for city?

As a squad player, yes. Bring him on to protect leads or play him with a mobile partner. He's happy with that limited role and good at it.

I'm genuinely not saying he's the best in the world. Just he's not the worst in the squad and I feel he takes a lot of abuse without a fraction of the defence other players have.

Other than Botata who is worse?

Can't wait for the reply to this ;)

Not saying I agree or disagree, but who do you think is the worst player in the squad?
Not that poster, but Boyata unfortunately. I had hoped he would have overcome his rashness at this point.

Since you aren't arguing in good faith, probably not.

He was as I've stated previously poor in a two-man midfield. This isn't surprising nor is it new. Inventing arguments doesn't bolster that in any way.

No, it's that once again you won't ever admit when you ask for something and it's given. Ask PMS if he blames Garcia for the draw. He obviously does. I think you know this too.
Once again?

I'm still waiting for the first.

The "giving away the ball for the corner" was a response to someone saying he only made one mistake, because it was a mistake was it not? It was not a declaration of how he was solely at fault for us not winning, which is what I'm arguing.

I'll wait a little longer if you want to give it another, viable, attempt
Just saw your edit. Solely? That's what I mean, pudge. You never said "solely blamed Garcia." You said "blamed Garcia."

It's a pattern you have. You dig in and even if a poster comes in and talks about how Garcia raped his dog and he's sure that Garcia purposely did his best to lose the match, you wouldn't accept it. Of course, you'll deny this as you do every single time and then keep demanding "proof" which you will every single time try to shift around as not actual proof. I like you, pudge, but when you dig in you do this.

You were given what you asked for. PMS at least from all appearances blames him for the draw. Why bring up the concession of a corner if not?
See my edit.

I say I have about 5 posts in this thread before today so I'm a little confused by your accusation.
Not this thread, pudge, but in general. We all have patterns. You dig in. I have my patterns as well. I'm too willing to give players multiple chances and it means I'll argue their merits too long.
Sorry, I was thrown off by the constant mentioning of Garcia.

I stress this is only opinion, but for me - Lescott, Rodwell and Richards

I hope that doesn't look anti-English (as I am English) but Jo and micah lack technique and intelligence while Rodwell is error prone and inconsistent.

That said I see that all these players have a place in our squad.

No worries, and it's not worth getting fussed about on anyone's part.

Pellegrini plays him because he just have no other options at hand.
When nine out of ten people claim you are shite, there's got to be a little bit of truth behind that, right ?

Some are saying he is an MD in the purest form possible, and nothing more, I say bullshit.
An MD is supposed to defend your back four, is supposed to put pressure on players when we don't have the ball, to harrass the opponents
and brake their attacks by any means necessary.
When Garcia plays, it is us who have the pressure on by his mere presence offering the opponents the ability to literally flood our box.

And let's not even talk about his contribution to the build up of attacks ...

Although I hope that as you saw the edit you can acknowledge how that "corner" mularky doesn't constitute blame for us not winning, as the context of it's mention was in reply to any mistakes the player made.

Hence my not accepting it as justification for the insecurity of some.

I agree with that NQ ,also when we are poor as a team ,I don't see why it has to be Garcia,Dzeko or Kolarov's fault every time !

Fair enough. Obviously I think all three are a lot better than Garcia overall. Garcia isn't as injury prone ill give you that.

Richards is a better right back than Garcia is a DM for me. Rodwell has great potential if he can stay fit and get a run of games and Lescott was a virtual ever present in our Premiership winning season establishing statistically the best centre half partnership in the league with Vinny.
