Sometimes I feel pellers only plays him just to get a buyer for him,who sees something in him that we haven't had a privilege for yet.

Obviously he's not quite up to the standard that we currently have elsewhere in the squad and aspire to sign in the future, but he certainly isn't as poor as he is made out to be.

Far from being our worst player today, (Boyata, Milner, Negredo, Pants for starters), useful in the air, holds his position (though admittedly runs through treacle) and has an admirable habit of passing to a player in the same coloured shirt.

Earns no praise for doing anything right, but groans for every error, and regularly even gets stick for the crime of passing to a team-mate.

Sorry but you could have plucked one of many fans from the away section who can effectively sit in front of a back four and consistently pass a ball 3 yards sideways. The waft of a leg as a players goes passed you is not enough. It was as if we played with 3 central defenders. He hasn`t got a forward pass in him, let alone a pass over 10 yards. If there`s a gap infront of him he doesn`t drive into the space. When trying to tackle he climbs all over the back of the opponent to stop them from breaking away.
Please please please somebody tell me what positive contribution he makes to the team.

Can I post my usual assessment?

He's fucking wank.

One of the worst value for money purchases I've ever seen in a City shirt, utterly hopeless.

When we have the ball he brings absolutely nothing to the team in terms of us scoring a goal.

He's only usueful in a game where the opposition is going to have more of the ball than us and he can help the back two CHs out if we've gone on the counter attack. But he's a wasted place in the team when we're in a game where we're bossing possession.

Was just about to ask you to reassess your opinion

I actually can't believe he's getting paid to play football, There's hope for us all so...
"If García plays for City so can I"

I think a few sticking up for him today are missing the point. The difference between say Garcia and Negrado is that today both gave the ball away cheaply but you will not here anyone criticising Negrado because of his effort and application in rectifying a mistake. Garcia on the other hand seems to want time and extra midfielders to allow him to stroll about whilst others cover his back. He prefers to pass sideways to Boyata and back to Lescott who we all know are not that good at distribution - THAT IS YOUR JOB GARCIA! Javi Garcia cost us 16million for a Spanish international midfielder - surely we could expect him to at least be able to run a midfield against championship players. It is easy to jump on the bandwagon but it seems he lacks passion and work rate - and that doesn't wash well especially when a player is off form.
