Jo

I might be alone, but I like Jo. Admittedly i've not been to a game live for about 5 years so i'm not in the best position to judge.
Seems a good guy with a good attitude. Does a job for the team. It's not his fault so much money was paid for him, or that Mancini picks him quite a lot. He obviously does well in training.

I will never criticise a player who is obviously working his bollocks off for the team, and from what i've seen Jo does that. Tell me if i'm wrong about that.
If a player ain't good enough, that's not his fault.

Why on earth do you say that? I honestly can't remember any City striker ever who I would pick Jo ahead of. Not one.

I used to despair at that cretin Vassel, but he was Pele by comparison.

Lee Bradbury
Gordon Davies
Stuart Lee
Bobby Shinton.

Jo was part of an eleven man team that couldn't be beaten on Weds.

Santa Cruz could be good but he is never ever fit.... If I was asked to pay £18mfor Jo or Santa Cruz it would be Jo for me.

Jo played 29 games 6 goals
Santa Cruz played 24 games 4 goals.

Agree neither record is impressive but otentially, for me, Jo is the better player.

You cant compare Lee Bradbury to Jo. Bradbury at least ummmm.............................................. no no they are both shit

You may be right on all counts there fellah but he's still shit!!

I remember Jo threading a lovely ball to Ade in one of the European matches and he played a great lobbed pass to Tevez against Arsenal as well..so there are glimpses of why he's picked along with being an outlet for Hart to aim at. Unfortunately he seems to be lacking in any sort of confidence to do it consistently in games.

If we let him go now we will get pennies for him compared to what we paid. So why not send him out on loan and see what he does with a few games under his belt.

If he gets better his value will go up, and if he shows the potential managers such as Sven and bobby have seen in him then he can come back.

The lad has tried his best for us, he's done what the manager asked him to when called upon so lets not slag him off.
