Why not, the player might not be as highly thought of as we are told.He doesn't need to
Well if what khaldoon said is true then no one will be buying Neves due to rules?
Madrid just paid 100-150 million sign on fee for Mbappe
It does.Doesn’t count towards FFP though?
It does.
Wages and signing on fees definitely count towards FFP, as do bonuses for winning things.I thought it only affected cash flow if the club mate hence it was a favorite Bayern trick to get players to join them on frees?
I guess a signing on fee can’t be amortised though ?Wages and signing on fees definitely count towards FFP, as do bonuses for winning things.
Signing on fees tend to be less than the transfer fee would have been, hence Bayern encouraging their transfer targets to run their contracts down.
Madrid are paying Mbappe over the 5 years. I don’t know if that can be amortised in the accounts, but it might be possible.I guess a signing on fee can’t be amortised though ?
Ye it all adds in to club expenditure. If it didn't then why would accusations of "back hander payments" against city matter if you could just pay guys millions and not have it factored in to ffpWages and signing on fees definitely count towards FFP, as do bonuses for winning things.
