The problem for any keeper we play is we are so dominant for most games that they hardly get a chance to show their worth.By the same token every mistake is highlighted more.
An inferior keeper at a club not so good will get plenty of shots and headers to save in a game,therefore if he makes a mistake it doesn't appear as bad because everyone remembers the blinder he had before he made it more than the error.
Our injuries in defense and playing a different system has left our keeper more exposed than in previous years,that being said teams are still not having a massive amount of chances against us, but when they do they are usually one on one or such meaning we conceed.
The mark of a world class keeper is he keeps his concentration and when called upon pulls of the breathtaking save that keeps us in,or wins us the match.Joe was doing it in the title winning season but now those times he has been called on this season he is conceeding.When that happens,such is the amount of work our keeper has to do most games,an average keeper would probably be of just as much use and would percentage wise save a few too.
