I'm sure Pelly has already decided on Joe for the Plzen,Bayern and Leicester games. Assuming he gets picked against Germany that's four games for him to stake his claim. Pants will be in for the Prem games , so by end December Pellers will have a decision to make. Although not ideal, he could then rotate them up to the end of the season and defer the decision.

I think Joe will be looking for serious answers to his future come January transfer window with it being a WC year as well.

The notion that being benched restores confidence and improves performance is frankly bizarre.

Perhaps its like an addict reaching rock bottom? The axe has been hanging over Hart for a while, now that it's actually happened it might be a relief, an opportunity to start again. Goalkeepers are known for having strange psyches!
