So with Hart as our No1 goalkeeper we won the FA Cup and Premier League and yet he is holding us back

Go away and have a think about where you are going in life
if he was that good how come he got dropped in the first place?
If he's as bad as you say how come he was re-instated?
Don't use a managerial decision to back up your argument when slagging the same manager's treatment of the same position off.

Mancini was going to replace Hart had he not got sacked and he won City the premeirship etcccccccccc i wonder why?

-- Wed Feb 19, 2014 1:35 pm --

Kompany would have been out the door too with quite a few others. Mancini picked Hart for the FA cup final ahead of Pants, as well as every other big game he was available for while he was manager.

I like Kompany and wouldn;t swap him for anyone else but that wouldn,t be the case with Hart and from what i remember Pants was supposed to be playing in the final but there was some interference going on which changed that then city lost

missing the point. Kompany and Hart both wanted to leave, it wasn't definitely a question of Mancini thinking Hart wasn't good enough, he'd had plenty of time and resources to replace him previously if that was the case, in fact he chose Hart over Given when Given was a top, top goalkeeper so obviously he must have rated him.

Not sure about those facts and i would have choosen Hart over Given back then but i prefer Pants in goal and feel safer with him then Hart but that does not mean i;am right its just my preference like Hart is yours but having lost to Chelsea at home in the league with Hart in goal i wonder why Pellagrini chooce Pants in the fa cup game which i think we won

because pants plays the cup games as 2nd choice keeper as he has for the last 3 years.

Ask Mancini, Pants played every other round that season including a semi v Chelsea, if you want a guess I'd say Bobby knew he was on the way out and abandoned club policy as he knew he had a better chance of winning with Hart in nets.

In the days leading to the final Panti stated that he would be off to look for first team football. If he had kept his mouth shut he would have played.Panti will never be world class,Hart has the potential to be.
