Don't know what the fuck he was doing for that first goal. Could have cost us the title this season with his fuck ups and I for one will be very disappointed if he's still #1 going into next season.

Seriously wtf. The goal was kompanys fault. He was fantastic yesterday. He's been brilliant since coming back into the team. Some fans seem to have some issue with hart regardless of what he does

What was his positioning about there ? Just stay on your fucking line you clown and you save it easily. Too many chances, too many mistakes. This isn't a charity anymore. Not good enough you need to go simple. His woeful distribution doesn't help the team either and you will be amazed at the impact a goalkeeper who looks to spring a counter quickly can make when Valdes hopefully arrives in the Summer.

'Stays on his line and save it easily ?? What a load of bollox.

I would tend to agree that Joe went on walkabout for the first goal but as balance I would add that he kept the score at 2-0 when they were mauling us for the first 30 mins. It was a collective error to let Liverpool have such a good start. I hope Joe is our keeper for years to come but the only thing that he really, really needs to work on is his distribution. Time and again he seems reluctant to throw the ball quickly ala Nauer and takes a more cautious approach. Then will try and diagonally kick it for Milner (when he's on) or Dzeko to 50/50 challenge- sort of! Result in losing possession. Our team thrive in possession and we need to retain it. This is something that can be worked on and I hope the coaches see it - remember he's only young and already has so much experience, plus he's English and next year we are going to be short of homegrown players.

I thought his distribution has been good lately, he doesn't kick it out of play anymore

Zabaleta was booked trying to save one of his kick out to not go out of play in 2nd half and they got corner from that distribution.

Just fuk off. We have some right fkin muppets supportin' us nowadays, wtf has happened.

Glory hunting pricks know fuck all about football and now the twats have all jumped on to supporting city.

When I get home I'm going to spell out fuck off in season tickets and post it on here
just to shut up all these unsufferable cunts who think that just because somebody criticizes a City player they must be a glory hunter who supported Chelsea 5 years ago.

PMSL

That would be cool as fuck to see.

He was culpable for the first but he did keep us in the game when the Scousers were dominant in the first half.

I'm not sure how anyone can say that he wasn't at least partly to blame for the first goal. He left the goal wide open ffs.

Played well other than that but it was, another, very costly error.

I like Hart and have defended him vehemently on here many times but I do wonder what Pellers et al think of him...? The fact that Valdes has done his knee might give him another season to prove himself to them.

all ifs and buts, it did look like sterling was going clean through, maybe hart should have retreated once kompany had covered but at the end of the day sterling was still getting a free shot at goal with hart off his line or not

Exactly, why can't the morons see this? Sterling received the ball goal side of Kompany, Hart as any keeper would do tries to close the angle for Sterling by coming off his line, in the meantime Kompany recovers and positions himself between Hart and the ball, leaving Hart caught in no man's land with no time to get back on his line.

To those criticising Hart, what would you have done in his shoes? You see Sterling bearing down on you after Vinnie got his angles wrong, do you stay on your line and give Sterling the goal to aim at or do you close out the space thus narrowing the angle giving Sterling less to aim at?

Or alternatively I guess you could invoke your powers of clairvoyance and anticipate that Vinnie is going to recover and get back in front of Sterling while he sorts his feet.

If Kompany doesn't recover and Hart stays on his line, people would've surely said Hart should have come off his line. The blame's got more to do with Vinnie than Hart.

It was Hart's fault in my opinion.

Kompany was shielding the goal but for some reason Hart stepped off his line and seemed to go directly behind Kompany leaving Sterling to knock it on to his right and basically pass into an open net.

Kompany should maybe have gone towards Sterling more but Hart made a shocker coming off his line.
