harts mistakes against chelsea and liverpool mean not many could argue those are the moments we lost the title
its no good being the worlds best shot stopper if you go and make rash decisions like coming off the line when its not needed !!

Same could be said for kompany if he hadn't had made those mistakes yestrperday we could have won. Some people really do have a problem with hart, it makes no sense

i can sympathize with a miss-kick, but to persistently make bad decisions like hart does , when hes almost certainly had plenty of coaching for this problem,
i wouldnt put kompany at fault for skirtels goal , as he was running away from the area to head the ball , some goals are impossible to stop

Mancini wanted Begovic, but the dressing room maffia didnt accept it, Mancini had to go.:))

Seriously, either Hart improves a lot or will go to the bench. Wouldnt besurprised if behind closed doors Txiki and Pelle already made their mind up, just sticked with him not to create dressing room problems or because the national team etc.
the new Pelle defensive system (less help to defenders, defenders more exposed to attackers) will mean Hart has to get more involved coming out with right timing, not sure he is intelligent to to this change. Mancini system was too good and comfortable for our defenders and Hart too, with Barry and before that even De Jong sitting deep, helping out a lot, not joining most of the attacks, playing a slower game, losing thre ball less in deeper areas etc.
It cost us a lot going forward, pace and energy, but Mancini liked clean sheets more than 3-4 goals scored. Pelle is theother way around, lot more responsibility on defenders and keepers too.

Hard to say any of our defenders or Hart proved they are more than ready for the new system. they clearly struggle a lot more. Wish this transitio period would have been made with the set of defenders we will really use. But new LB, RB and at least one new CB will come in in next few months. They will need time too maybe. To get used to the team/league and the system. We really should have bough one top defender in the summer or following trough with Mangala business in January and even if he has a bad few months for a start he would have 6 month experience already next year.
Hard to disagree with

Hart did OK, but Kompany was having (yet again) one of his days.

Joe perhaps could/should have done better, but no way was he at fault for any of those goals. Vincent Kompany however was, for all 3 of them.

Hart was partly to blame for the first goal, I don't know how anyone can argue against that, he came out needlessly and then compounded the error by getting stranded in no man's land - gifting Sterling a sight of an empty net was criminal. His composure and decision making in big games is letting him down.

Vinny simply should not have started, you can maybe take a fitness gamble with one key player but not two - I'm struggling to believe Yaya was 100% at the start seeing as he was in some discomfort at the end of the Southampton game and it looked like the same problem as forced him off yesterday.

Glory hunting pricks know fuck all about football and now the twats have all jumped on to supporting city.

When I get home I'm going to spell out fuck off in season tickets and post it on here just to shut up all these unsufferable cunts who think that just because somebody criticizes a City player they must be a glory hunter who supported Chelsea 5 years ago.

No it's the analyse what he did wrong again thread.

The lad has taken enough flak, goalkeepers let goals in
Vinnie was far more at fault yesterday than joe

We'll discuss that on the What Vinnie did wrong thread.

Yeah well Vinnie has been a fucking lion since the day he signed and played 90 minutes yesterday unfit with no regard for the world cup or his reputation simply because Our club needed him. I'm going to cut him some slack. Joe Hart owes his whole fucking career to City and needs to pull his finger out.

There was a moment where Joe Hart couldn't even see Raheem Stirling or the ball as he was directly behind Kompany yet he persisted in staying in that position. For someone who is number for their Country and deemed a top goalkeeper, that is some awful positioning. If that was your team mate in your local amatuer team, you'd be giving him the 3rd degree
