Joe Hart (joined Torino on season long loan - Official)

Joe has been dropping bollucks consistently for a few seasons, so much so that he's had to have "breaks" from the first team squad. He makes some good saves but that is a minimum requirement of a top class goal goal keeper. Joe has also cost us points on his own with amateur like blunders and that I'm sure is why pep had a problem.

Willies total summation here would be "Saved a few penalties", he is not within a country mile of Hart an never will be.
Hart has won us games galore because he made saves bordering on world class on a regular basis, Pep needs to have a f*cking word with himself.
You need to give your head a fucking wobble.

I don't think Willy was picked ahead of Joe because he is any better than him or is able to implement Pep's style either.

I think it was to make his intent clear that he doesn't want Joe as Number 1
That's what I think as well.

Willy is utterly average and will not play many games for Guardiola. He's just been put in until the new guy comes in.

How do you know he hasn't had a chance? How do you know Pep and Joe haven't had chat about things, have you been to private training sessions?

Managers have preferences for certain players, those they're not keen on get sold. It's no different to say Mangala getting the boot or Bony or anyone else. This is a big decision granted, but managers are paid to make big decisions and given our manager's track record I am more than happy to back him in this. I honestly don't understand the tears overs this.

There should be a degree of loyalty or at least a chance given to someone who has been an ambassador for the club, who has 10 years service. When I say chance given, I mean on the pitch, not in training. If he has to go up against another proven keeper then fair enough, just don't tell me Caballero is that proven, better goalkeeper.

Oh don't talk sense young man, you'll spoil all that pretentious/know it all guff from SWP and Pablo1 about not following instructions etc etc etc
Because it's not fucking sense. It bears no relation to the evidence ahead and assumes Pep would potentially throw matches to prove a point to the board (when's literally got free reign).

The only guff here is the brain fart you've just had.

we have all seen what pep did with the big players at barca and even what taggert did over the road with the so called big players and there egos and it was no detriment to them what so ever....for the first time in years we have a manager who has got the balls to ruffle a few feathers and not affraid to make changes for ultimately the end result...no one is bigger the club and it looks like Joe is going to find that out within the next 2 weeks

Joe has been a good keeper for us. Very good. And it is sad to see him go. His cockiness gave him an edge. But looking at what Bravo offers in terms of continuity of play this is a no brainer.

You ignore attitude and style?

Possibly mate. I`m not saying what I feel is completely rational, but we are talking about footballer who plays for the team we Love. I think where City and most of us are concerned rationality goes out the window.

Perhaps its that Joe is English which is a plus regarding the quota, perhaps he`s been here a long time and feels like he`s nearly as city as Zab or Vinnie.
Perhaps its because this feels like the media are praying for us to sell Joe then will beat us with a big stick.
Perhaps its the games I remember like against Barca and Dortmund to name 2 where he stood between us and annihilation.
Perhaps its when I see De Gea make 2 mistakes for 2 goals against Spain that saw them leave the Euro`s without so much of a word.
Perhaps I`ve gone in defencive mode because it`s what other clubs fans will love,

Perhaps its the names of 6 goalies who some thought were better than Joe,
De Gea, Foster, Loris, Courtois, Butland, Schmeichel, none of whom have never 1 won the golden glove between, never mind the 4 Joe`s won.

Perhaps it`s the last 3 years under Pelligrini where our defencive organisation has be woeful at best with no midfield cover in front of the back 4. I think any goalkeeper in the world form would suffer.

I feel like the lone voice in the wilderness and yes it maybe be Irrational but it`s what I feel.
