I have no idea of the reasons why he doesn't seem to want Hart. Maybe Guardiola doesn't feel Hart's capable of playing the way he wants him to, maybe Hart doesn't want to play that way or isn't willing to listen/change, maybe Hart has an attitude problem, maybe Guardiola wants him to learn under Bravo for a season or so and Hart doesn't fancy that as it might cost him his England place, maybe they've had a fall out etc. We can all hazard a guess as to why but none of us really knows for sure.

Ultimately though, it's the manager's call and there's not much point chasing Guardiola all this time and then not giving him the tools he wants for the job.

At the end of the day I support the club, not individual players, so if Hart's stays, I'll happily continue to support him, if he goes, I'll happily support whoever replaces him. I suspect there'll be more fan favourites (rumoured to be) leaving over the next 12 months or so and no doubt there'll be similar angst each time but we have to trust/hope that the manager's decisions take us forward as a club. I suspect that they will.
Spot on

Was you drinking bokkkes of coke and eating cwipss... Ffs

'Don't sell Joe hart chants'... How old are you, 12?

Boring you lad. Did I say I was chanting? Probably been more games than you've had hot dinners so doing well for 12 years old drinking coke. Get a grip it's a discussion on a player can't handle an opposite view then jog on.

How is Bravo at saving shots low and to his left?

;)

Excellent (maybe). Haven't really seen enough of him to know personally but friends in Spain speak highly of his shot stopping and ability on the ball but weren't so sure how he'd do in England from high crosses and corners.

The 'rapport' with fans is mostly a figment of our imaginations really.
The players doing videos for the clubs and who come across as very likeable - they're the ones we think we have a rapport with. We don't.
We LIKE them, they seem like great blokes, we warm to that and we make them our favourites.

I adore Zab and Vinnie etc, but we are buying into a perception of them based on cute club videos, interviews on TV, and yes actions on the pitch. It's NOT a rapport though. I don't know them personally, they might be nothing like I think they are.

I just think some of you should watch some of the post match press conference before putting words in Peps mouth about why he made the decision to start Willy(he had more time with what Pep's had them working on) and his thoughts Joe's abilities(in his words it's not that he thinks Joe can't do it) and don't give me he wont tell us what he's really thinking that's just an excuse to put more words in his mouth after he's already said different on record.

We'll find out soon enough whether he's really on his way and possibly whether he did step out of line and we'll move on but there's a lot we can't be sure of from the outside.

Your whole post is just needy sentimental mush. What is this rapport you keep alluding to. What matters is what they do on the pitch. It wouldn't bother me if they went straight down that tunnel at the end of a match without so much as wave to the fans provided they had just given their all for 90 minutes and given the opposition an arseholing to remember. This sentimentality is just about the need to be acknowledged for the ticket you buy every week or the season ticket you buy every year. What matters is how they perform and what they win, everything else is a sideshow. If Pep can get this squad into a lean, mean, invincible fighting unit, I don't think many will complain too much about Joe Hart not being there to clap them at the end of the match. Or if it bothers people that much perhaps we could ask the club to retain Joe on £150,000 a week and he could come onto the pitch and clap the fans regardless of whether he played or not.

Clearly all you care about is winning then? For me personally, football will always be more about the passion than the glory. Winning and playing well is great but I don't just support City because of that. I go because they're my local team and I'm passionate about Manchester and my community amongst other reasons. It therefore, is not the same if we have players who seemingly don't even have a slightly similar outlook to City as I do. If that's all 'sentimental mush' to you then there's obviously no real point having a debate. No wonder our atmosphere is dreadful, it seems our fans care solely now about winning. Who does that remind you of?
