Why should it annoy you?
Both parties signed contracts of employment and is the hirer no longer requires your services, you have every right to stay put and see out your contract. No fault should be put on the players for that
I hear what you're saying and understand, but the way the club has handled this sorry fiasco on Joe Hart, leaves me feeling sad bemused and annoyed tbh. Txiki saying the club will find the best solution and help Joe find another club. The club offering to pay another club a reputed 90k per week to subsidise his wages to a rival team. Joe deserves better than the way he's clearly being forced out of the door imho. And then there is the greed from players, and Joe cannot be excluded in expecting the same salary. I could go on but I'd rather not mate.

'Typical City' and 'cock up kings'. I thought we had shed those tags...

I think this is a big mistake by the club, not only is Hart a better keeper than Caballero and Bravo he is English and a great spokesman for the club. These things matter and in his long and mainly distinguished career with this club he has earned the right to be treated with more compassion by the club and some of the fans on here. His form has been poor and the situation needed some addressing but the way it is being handled has spoiled any joy for me at the arrival of Pep. Hart could and would have adapted, it's not hard to throw or pass the ball ten yards. I should be so exited about watching the team I love go back top again tomorrow but I will have one eye on the dugout and will tut my way through the game.

1. Are you sure?
2. It's not about just passing 10 yards. It's about seeing "between the lines", as Pep puts it. And choosing the right option (Under Pressure). It's also about anticipating situations.....the way Worm did for Spurs today for example. Coming out to clear the ball at the right time before it becomes a 1v1 situation.

Pep has obviously seen something in training that makes him doubt if Hart is worth mentoring at this point of his career.

You may get lucky and joe sign for Liverpool then you can tut off to anfield and watch your hero every week.

The rest of us are excited about this next phase of the club and its development . It's about perfection dedication and the best. Looking forward to tomorrow.

I have said he has to go several times now, what i object to is the throwing him under the bus treatment he has been getting from people on here,i am really glad he got a good send off last game and i hope for all our sakes that he gets a good move, not once have i said pep is wrong to bring in bravo and move us along, this is not a pep v joe issue, not for me anyway
How would you have done it?

I fail to see a single thing the club have done wrong. They've hired the best manager in the business and backed his judgement.

I'm sure he could have gone to the technical coaches, including the GK coach, who it seems prefers Pep's style himself, and asked to work on it, outside normal training, so that he could be up to speed for Pep's arrival ? Its not for me to figure it out though, but it would have been the professional thing to do, would it not ?

Can't say its bothering me either way, I don't care a toss what the media write, and haven't for a long time. I'm there to support Manchester City, many of my favourites have come and gone over the years, and they will continue to do so, while I carry on supporting Manchester City, and while we all think we have some influence we don't have any.

We've brought one of, if not the top coaches in world football, if this is how he wants to do it, he's far better qualified than I ever will be, so I'm happy to watch how it plays out.

Do I have any sympathy for the position Joe finds himself right now ? Of course I do, but he'll get another gig, on very good money (more than you and me will ever earn).
The point about Joe asking for extra training ,the problem with that he would of needed the back four the centre mid and a couple of pressing forwards to practice,I don't think its something he could practice by himself its got to be more of a team, practice match drill IMHO ?

How would you have done it?
I would have told him the first of july he wasn't in our plans, pep must have known if as we are led to believe he did his homework on the players but Ric said he was told he wasn't going to be no1 which led him to believe he could fight with willy when i doubt that was the case, give him all summer to find a new club, but now we are where we are,too late for both sides

Well you'd think they might all have wanted it to prepare.

I think you're very much the minority.

I certainly wasn't amongst those who actually went on Wednesday although that valiant group might be on the minority on here. Those whom I spoke to said 'just like last season with Pellegrini';

I see a small group of those who disagree forming up on here once more as it did yesterday when I dared express the view that the way this Hart saga has gone on FOR WHATEVER REASON does not look good for the club. You can see the tabloids already gathering to slate us for it.

I stand by my opinions on any matter and respect the opinions of others without being personal as many did yesterday. I have put in many hard miles over the years but I have this feeling of unease in the last week or two which is at odds with my normal optimism.

You may be right ,but if pellers had them playing one way and then it would have required about 7 first team players to say we want a go at sweeper keeper after training every day and none of them knowing if pep would keep them as most of us had zabba and kolorov out the door and stones not at the club ,would you have said to mangala don't bother practising as your off.?
Don't think Joe in his defence could have done much more in his defence

There isn't actually much division between fans at all. It is just a handful of people on the internet are extra sad to see him go & a small handful of that small handful are resentful or rags.

Most of the singing on Wed was for Guardiola unltil the Joe Hart stuff took over a bit later, to give him a send off. Which people such as myself joined even though I know he probably has to go.

Then we have rags stirring .

I have been happily stirring the rags for a long time but we shouldn't give them ammunition to stir themselves. The media supply enough as it is.

I know what Silva and Kompany can do. I have seen it many times over recent years. So far I have seen a lot of aspirations, blind faith and wet dreams about what Pep will do. I have seen over 30 managers come and go at City and I do not judge, praise or condemn on their past reputations. One of those was a 'tough new boss' called Ron Saunders. Those who seek to establish themselves as Billy Big Bollocks often come a cropper, even Clough did at Leeds.

I hope he will do well obviously but I came out of the ground very deflated on Wednesday having seen a lot of players milling round and generally getting nowhere against a team that had no ambition and little ability. Tomorrow will be more of a test but the last thing I went is to say 'told you so'.

You might think that Silva and Kompany fit into how Pep plays the game. We don't know until it happens. Silva might not even fit into the team once the full complement of midfielders are available. Kompany body might not be up to running round in attack as well as defending.

The problem is that no one knows what will happen anymore they know the winning lottery numbers for tonight yet they are prepared to slag off fellow Blues who do not hold the 'In Pep we trust' mantra inn a blind sort of way.

One thing is for sure - I have not seen a manager who has caused so much division between the fans before the end of August.

lol, what a complete crock of shit pal, welcome to my blocklist. I simply can't be arsed listening to people like this when we have it all right now to be brilliant. I don't get the dour half empty outlook at all right now and refuse to have my day sullied reading their inane mumbling.

So why did you feel the need to inform me? You will understand I feel so sense of loss but perhaps not understand that I have only replied out of sense of good manners.

There was an excellent post on here a few days ago which said that people should only say on the internet things which they would say to the other's face.

And please do not call me pal.

If you are so distraught at the way Joe has been treated, go and support his new club. As for keeping your eye on the dug out and tutting all game, why bother going. HTF I'm not the poor sod say next to you

Finally, Hart is not the better keeper.
