Felt really sorry for guidetti last night. Worked tirelessly on his own up front but had fuck all to feed off with the hopeless mancini, vlad weiss who very much flattered to deceive, and Mr Billy Big Bollocks himself Lee Sharpe the 2nd Adam johnson behind him, none of whom gave him anything or even looked like giving him any sort of decent supply. Well, apart from billy big bollocks who could have slipped him in for a simple open net but obviously thought only of number one and shot....and missed

I agree although it was Weiss who AJ should have squared it to. Guidetti was unlucky with his chance that hit the post after one of Yaya's trademark surges

Ta for that. I just tried watching some highlights to confirm it was Guidetti but they didn't have the chance on their. Extra credit to Weiss for getting into the good position, but my point about Johnno remains

I think this is worth a topic. I have seen many posters here hype this guy and even say that he should be our 4th choice striker over Jo!

I mean....i dont rate Jo, but he is twice the player Guidetti is.

Yesterday i saw the full game and watched the highlights later...

Guidettis first touch sucks, no creativity, ball control even worse, bad passing, movement is shite aswell....he might be a good finisher but why the hell is City offering him a new contract?

Honestly, I don't think you even know what you are going on about.

How can you make this judgement on him from this one game you have seen? Having seen him on loan last season (and his games for Sweden U21's) I can tell you that you are wrong. There is absoluetly nothing wrong with his ball control, passing, movement or creativity. Gudietti has ONLY JUST turned 19 and already you're questioning why he is being offered a new deal. Well maybe, just maybe it's because the coaches and manager at the club know something about football and don't make their mind up on player's after watching Highlights of ONE MATCH.

For a 19 year old footballer he's doing well and still developing.

Not sure what the guy above is on about because I thought Guidetti was good in the friendly. He had next to zero service, with AJ being shite and wasteful and Mancini Jr being wank. And when he did get a good chance he damn near scored at a tough angle.

Really high hopes for this guy I'm glad we've kept him.

If he doesn't go, he should get a few Carling Cup games/Premier League sub appearances this season. He is a better option than Jo.

Why would we sell him when he just signed a new 3-year contract? But a loan is possible, however rumour has it he's been guaranteed first team football as part of his contract and a place in the CL squad.

Guidetti is class! if you just search his name on youtube you'll find out, his overhead kick for the EDS last season i think just shows how good he is
