John Guidetti

Loan him out to a club that plays decent football, in a decent league
Hopefully he develops, gets over the injuries woes, builds confidence
Sell Dzeko for something near what we got him for in the summer, replace with Guidetti in the 4th striker role

It would of been good if we could of kept him on for the rest of the season but the lad needs regular game time and that is not a guarantee at City. This summer is the time we have to take stock and if it is the right to cash in on the player.

Needs games, which he won't get at City this season so a loan deal makes perfect sense. Still hope there is a future for him at the club though.

Yes he has been injured but not all of that time. He's not going to play him. I'm willing to bet money on that. There's three domestic cup games coming, surely if he was ever going to feature then this would be his chance.

I think the point is that, after about 18 months away, Guidetti is now undergoing a long process of regaining proper match fitness. It's one thing his leg fully healing, it's a second thing him being ready to sit on the subs bench, but it's an entirely different thing his body being ready to stand 90 minutes of constant exertion without essentially giving up after an hour. Players rely heavily on maintaining constant fitness and injuries disrupt that; in this modern era of sports science, a player who has barely played a game (EDS level doesn't count, it's not competitive enough) for going on two whole years is going to take several months before he's ready to start a game, especially when City are in a position where they can't afford to have the team playing up to compensate for one of the players not being ready. If we could play a few games where the final score didn't really matter then maybe he'd get more of a chance, but right now we can't really go into any game at all and not have to play for the win for the whole game.

That said, it is possible that Pelle simply doesn't rate Guidetti. A loan is probably best for all concerned.

Managers can not afford to risk fringe players for one full game the amount of pressure on a manager these days doesn't allow for it. Its a shame as well as I really wanted to see what he could do.

Id love to see him go on loan to 1 of 3 teams, hull, Swansea or Cardiff as they all play good football and create a lot of chances and don't appear to have great forwards so Guidetti would be challenging for first team.

Dzeko not playing well in recent match, can't hold ball well, can't finishing well, ok, but he can pass
I think even John Guidetti is better than Dzeko 's finishing ......... at least recently every match he has score
Check the above youtube, his score Instinct is still here

I think if we do loan him out it should be to someone in this league.

Think he could do wonders for a team like West Brom, Hull, or even Newcastle considering Remy is their only decent striker.

Hull would be ideal as he would be a guaranteed starter ahead of the shite danny graham. They also play good football too

We should avoid west ham while they still have fat sam

Wouldn't want him at Newcastle, all they do is hump it upfield and hope for the best, Shola Ameobi gets gametime ffs
