his best season was last were he was argueably the best player in the dutch league, hes been injured this pre season. You cant say the coaching staff were unimpressed with him in other pre seasons as he was pretty much a kid.

Don't think we have a choice other than to sell him if he won't extend.
If we refused to sell him and forced him to play in the reserves we really would be ruining football and a footballer.Neville Kneville said:blink922 said:greasedupdeafguy said:Very risky, this guy could special or the new Bendtner, I would give him a loan move to a prem club and see how he does. 6 million is nothing for us financially.

I hope people take notice of this post instead of just mindlessly whingeing on.
When can we test him ? He's been unavailable. He's not better than any of our current 4 strikers so he can't start games in the Prem.
What can we do ? If we keep him & stick him on the bench, his career suffers & he walks out. If we loan him, his contract ends & he walks out.
We can offer him a new deal for big money, without ever seeing him play a proper game in the 1st team, lose him by benching him, lose him by loaning him or sell him.
None of the options are ideal. It's just tough shit. We have to choose one.

Potentially he could be better than Dzeko but we wont know unless we give a loan move, has he got 2 or 3 years left on his contract? If its 2 then why not a 3 month loan move to see how he does playing in the prem.Neville Kneville said:blink922 said:greasedupdeafguy said:Very risky, this guy could special or the new Bendtner, I would give him a loan move to a prem club and see how he does. 6 million is nothing for us financially.

I'm pretty sure no prem club that would give him ample playing time would agree to a 3 month deal.

I really hope City keep Guidetti,
Dzeko not good enough, not fast enough, Tevez 28yrs old......
Guidetti should get the chance in near future,
Moreover, City keep lower expense than before (because UEFA Financial Fair Play Rules)
I think he will get chance in our future plan. We need him.

He also tweeted a picture yesterday of him playing for City with the caption "one dream, one goal" so looks like he's fully committed.
The Feyenoord fans loved him last season, so much so that when they cemented 2nd place they carried him on their shoulders from his house to the stadium! I would be gutted if he left because he really is a special talent.
We shall see. He's contracted til 2014 so I don't see why he really needs to at the moment.Train said:woody7figure said:You don't score 3 consecutive hat tricks unless you have something special!

lol. He can keep saying that shit, but unless he signs, i doubt he'll play for us. At this point, all talk no substance.
