John Guidetti's latest transfer 'request' - Galatasaray

Pescara told Italian press they have given up on John because he's "one step away from Sunderland" (on loan). A great move in theory, I just hope the option to buy is not true, what benefit is there in that? If he has a storming season his value goes up, so even if we still sell him we can get more money. If he has a bad season Sunderland won't buy him anyway. Don't repeat the Caicedo mistake, I beg you City.

SAFC might not take him if there's no option to buy?

Must admit I have not seen him play but 1.5m loan fee is surely a good deal for City

If the first point is true then we could simply loan him elsewhere, he's in HUGE demand and plenty of clubs would pay a loan fee for such a potent young striker.

John Guidetti is our City's future
Although he is talented, but need recover first and improve more.

I love Guidetti in City
I really looking forward to wait John Guidetti be our first team someday.

Whatever you do, don't hold your breath. There's more chance of Adebayor becoming a regular than John. If we can get 4 - 6 £mill , let's cash in. Sadly, he's not good enough for a a side with Prem & Champs League aspirations IMO. Wish him all the best though.

The kid is 19 and just had a great season in Holland. Are you a talent scout?

Shame really. Never gonna be given a chance when Mancini is in charge. Who'd rather go after a spoilt brat like Van Persie than giving the likes of Guidetti a bow.

Selling Guidetti to Sunderland feels like something that will come back and haunt us.

What is the point in having kids if they are not worthy of a shot, or at least a decent loan, WITHOUT being sold, after a season like the one Guidetti just had in Holland?

"We're sorry, 20 goals in Holland just isn't good enough."

Fucking ridiculous.

No mate, are you ? just believe my own eyes. As I've said before, I'd love John to make it with us as he is a good player with potential to be better. Can he ever be better than Mario, Tevez, Kun or anybody else we may buy to replace them ? I really don't think so.

More than £1.5 m? If he scores 15 goals for Sunderland and they get him on an option to buy then that's to their credit for risking a strikers berth on a young player.

We can't keep him at 20 when we can't offer him 1st team football.

What do you expect when you have a shoe salesperson in charge of the transfer dealing!
