John Guidetti's proposed loan to Sunderland is in doubt as the Manchester City striker is still struggling to shake off a virus that cost him his place with Sweden at the European Championships.

The 20-year-old has been out since April. Blackburn were also keen. Juventus are hopeful of signing City's Aleksander Kolarov for £6m.

Manchester United are monitoring Malaga utility player Eliseu, 28.

Blackburn failed with a loan bid other day any other news on what we're doing with guidetti? Surely it wouldn't be productive to not get him loaned out with dzeko still in the squad

He could be out till the end of the season if he isn't lucky, really really sick. Most clubs are pulling back when they hear about his condition at the moment

He tweeted this pic from Carrington an hour ago, so he must have some sort of pre-season program.

hasn't he got a virus so no one will sign him ?

A talent but a big ego. I think we should sell him for decent money whilst we can he's not good enough for first team squad at the moment.

Well at least that means we won't be looking to off-load him to the rags.

I wouldn't sell them a virus.

Sunderland are gonna meet with City to discuss a possible loan. Don't know if its already been posted
