Not even remotely true. You're suggesting the fact he's playing a pre-season friendly precludes him from coming. KDB not only played in the preseason, he played a few regular season games. There is nothing in Stones playing that changes anything.

Everton are no longer a club that needs to sell, that's not saying he won't be sold but and its a huge but they'll hold out for the most that they are able to glean.

They're probably playing him in the knowledge that we bought Gundogan while he was injured and were seemingly after Laporte when he was injured, obviously won't put City off

I still don't see Everton dropping their valuation of him. They said £50 million from the very start and have stuck to that. This stalemate is just pointless as it won't be them to blink first it'll be us.
