Re: Chelsea reject Terry offer [Merged]

If he wasn't giving this some thought, when why are Chelski so upset. Thgey aren't going to be bothered about people trying to buy him if the player himself was genuinely commited to his present club. Their "City better not come back ever, ever again so there" press conference was a bit odd as well, especialy in the absence of any direct quotes from Mr Terry himself about the matter.

Petulent gits. It was all very fine when they were sniffing around SWP all summer long a few seasons back.

Re: Chelsea reject Terry offer [Merged]

i wonder why he dropped out of this yeovil game, perhaps he wanted to avoid uncomfortable questions regarding his future ?

Chelski have been bleating but the player himself, well his silence is deafening.

Agreed pam, remember guys this is the chelsea captain and not a word very strange imo.
I also thimk it's strange. but he did come out and commit himself to chelsea last time we bid for him, maybe he just doesn't feel the need as cfc have said he is not for sale at any cost..
i think it will run to the end of the window this one..

The thing is mate city have told chelsea the offer staying on the table and the papers are even reporting of a further bid so it's obvious to JT that if he doesn't break his silence then the rumours will persist and intensify, i'm sure chelsea wont be impressed with that.

Chelski fans are worried about the player's silence, although they seem to think he's still on holiday and I seem to think he isn't because he's defo just ditched the Yeovil testimonial and for some reason, Chelski FC have been squealing a bit IMO.

i wouldn't be surprised if he is out of the country playing golf, imo that would be the perfect cover for staying out of the media and saves him having a microphone shoved in his face.

the longer he stays out of the way the more confident i feel he is interested in coming to us.

He's had the best part of 48 hours to knock this on the head.

Re: Chelsea reject Terry offer [Merged]

Its his poker face, he wants a wage increase and he's not going to show his hand that fast.

I'm agreeing Pam, if he wanted to knock it on the head he would have done so by now however assuming he IS interested then the last thing he needs at this moment is to have to make an awkward statement - no news (statement) is good news.

It could be that Chelsea feel they've spoken of JT's behalf, why would he come out and make a seperate statement if Chelsea told him they had everything in hand?

to placate the fans.
