Never going to happen for me. Why would he want to come to us? No reason whatsoever to leave chelsea. They will be challenging next season for everything. He's guarenteed his place there and he earns well over 100k already so money isn't going to be an issue.

Rag.

Quite the opposite. Im being a realist, something no rag can ever be :)

Just to clarify...

That this Terry business is a statement that we are making as a football club, rather like Robinho last summer!

Regardless of the deal, signing the England captain and showing that he wants to play for City is basically saying to the world, "Hello, we mean business".
So if everybody will calm down about the ludicrous money involved! Its a club statement! Cheers, LCBblue.

I imagine that he will sign, yes. And if he does, I'll be the first to whoop with joy. But its a statement, and wer're making a good decisions.

So yeah, I want him to sign, but not for 300k a week

Re: Chelsea reject Terry offer [Merged]

This Yeovil thing, John Terry is not on holiday. He was definitely supposed to be there but it is nothing to do with Chelski. Some people on the MEN boards are saying he plans to make a statement to the Yeovil fans later today, which sounds like BS to me, unfortunately because I can't for one minute believe he is about to sign for Yeovil.

I'd go more for this;

..........................Given...................................

..Zabaleta......Terry.........Lescott........Bridge......

...................De Jong......Barry..........................

....Tevez................Ireland.............Robinho

.......................Eto'o

SUBS: Taylor,Onuoha,Kompany,Johnson,SWP,Bellamy,Santa Cruz

only the back 4 different to my attempt, problem i foresee with your choice is that we don't have enough height for set pieces, hence why i had Toure and Lescott at full backs with Ned and JT in the centre.
Toure is lost at fullback, they tried it at the arse earlier this season and it went wrong.

Re: Chelsea reject Terry offer [Merged]

If he comes here he better roll the socks down.

He looks a right Tw*t with them pulled up to his shorts.

Re: £300 grand a week for terry..£40 mill bid.

Don't care what money he is on.If we sign him it will a) sort out our defence and b) send a proper signal to the rest of the worlds players that we are a decent club to play for.

He is the sort of player we need.A leader and a world class defender.
