Re: Chelsea reject Terry offer [Merged]

Whats changed today? all chelsea have done imo is verbally state what they wrote on the club website on thursday night.

Mr Chelsea has still not expressed a desire to stay with Chelsea, i'll believe he's staying when i hear it from his gob! until them MCFC are still very much in the mix!

Also don't give me any bollocks about him not giving a statement cos he's sunning it up abroad.

His agent isn't on holiday so silence is good............

That's another thing that's bugging fcuk out of me, when as an agent ever been this quiet? i mean these gobshites can't wait to shoot their traps off. Look at eto'o's agent giving it the bigun, imo team Terry are well up for it.

Re: Chelsea reject Terry offer [Merged]

I think he is thinking about it, seriously, the ssn reporter who was outside Sb before Ancelottis press conf, said that he had tried to contact Terrys agent, he said come on pick up your phone, why wouldnt he answer if Terry was definatly staying, i think he will see how much more money he will be offered, we have prob told him, hel be our leader, wel build the team around him, plus great wages, he would be a fool not to think about it, plus if cashleys wanting a move abroad, wel see.

What's changed is that Ancellotti has used his press conference to say that he's staying. Now the only way for the deal to happen is for Terry to rock the boat, and I can't see that happening. Silence from John Terry is not what's required, it's a transfer request.

Looks like City have moved on anyway

Maybe we are calling Chelsea's and Terry's bluff. If Terry thinks we are taking the huge wages elsewhere he may be more inclined to put in a transfer request. He's probably in 2 minds as to what to do as understandably its a huge decision for him to make.

Yeah you could be on to something there mate. We're flying out to Germany anyway so we could use that as a bluff to Chelsea rather than JT. If we put in a bid in the next 48 hours they would have reason to believe that it's now or never, otherwise we buy Lucio. Then, if reports are true that Chelsea would accept a £40 million bid, it's up to the player. And as has been mentioned many times in this thread, we would not have bid if we didn't think the player would be interested.
