Very powerful man is Roman, can't see JT looking forward to telling him he wants to leave.

JT will want Roman's blessing to go, whether he will get it or not is debatable.

A good point. Roman will not take it well at all, and remember that he has given special treatment to Terry - lending him his yacht and so on.

Don't underestimate how big a deal this would be for Terry, to go to Chelsea and say he wants a move.

Several papers went with stories today that Chelsea are confident Terry will stay and he'll start negotiating a new contract when they come back from America. However, those resulted from Chelsea briefing the press in LA and while Terry remains silent on the issue, no one really knows for sure what will happen.

Spursmad, meanwhile, hasn't posted since Monday - people are hoping that he may be on with some more info, but so far he hasn't been.

If you're suggesting that Nedum should be on anywhere near £100k a week then I'm sorry but you are dead wrong... Bridge and Bellamy are experienced premiership players and established in their respective international teams.

When Nedum is 28 and has more international caps to his name he WILL be on £100k a week assuming he continues to improve enough to remain at the club.

It's just like any other job, as you get older and prove yourself then you earn the big pay rises... you don't get handed them on a plate. It's not like they are going to get paid anywhere near as much elsewhere (Sturridge being perhaps the exception as there was no doubt a sizable sign on fee).

That issue, I think, is one of the problems City will have to face at some point. The huge gap between the wages of your new acquisitions and the rest of the squad.

All clubs have this problem to some degree or other.
