Chris, your concerns have been touched upon earlier in the thread: I think a fair summary is that he's contractually obliged, but he is not obliged to look happy. Whether getting off a plane, or posing for the camera, he doesn't have the look of happy man. Just watch him at the end of this.

He has been smiling in loads of pictures. A 15 hour flight drains you and he's unlikely to look happy. But there are loads of very recent images of him smiling and joking around with the squad. But as someone was fast to point out yesterday 'just because he is smiling doesn't mean he will stay', well it goes the other way too.

Decco just been on SSN sayin he hopes he stays but its difficult sometimes when another club comes callin!

He was asked whether he had asked JT whether he would stay!

He laughed and mumbled he didn't know whether he will stay!

I saw that, the interviewer asked him whether Terry had said if he was saying, Terry hasnt said anything to any of them regarding this....hmm

The Ballack one said he had spoken to JT and was sure he would stay. Deco is a bit of a recluse at Chelsea, so I'm not surprised he hasn't spoken to JT about it. He is on the way out after a shockingly bad season.

Ballack did not say he was sure he would say.
