you've posted very sensibly on here, and to last on this board you've done really well debating your views. I personally think Terry will stay with you, I would be delighted if he moved though. Not only from a footballing perspective, but also because of the statement of intent that it would also be and that it would rip out the heart of a club we wish to rival. Taking at look at the BBC today though, I'm not so sure he's staying with you;

Cech - Thanks Petr, so he hasn't grown three legs and a tail in the last two months. Nothing to say mate, don't day it.

As for Ballack , that's documented so I don't need to repeat what he has said which is hardly positive from a Chelsea point of view. Like I said mate, I doubt he will come and I'm not getting in Cracker psycho analytical mode reading the quotes as they made have been taken out of context, but I just think there is a slight possibility we may pull this off. The all important quote we haven't got is from the man himself stating he's not going anywhere! Surely now after this time you must be thinking that something is going on.

This transfer seems to have been going on all summer, and I suspect it may go to the wire. Personally I would hope that we put a time limit on it soon if for no other reason than to start looking at alternatives before the season starts. Quality defenders seem to be at a premium especially those already established in prem league.

I think (now this is my opinion and I am not an ITK) this is going to happen, if it wasn't, JT would of denied it outright. Unless he is holding out for more moolah from Chelski

Whatever is going on and no one seems to really know - old Terry has hit the mute button he hasn't said a word all summer - I wonder if he's done a deal to go to the US - fulfill his obligations but say nothing (no attendance at press conferences) and sort his future when gets back - just a thought but I don't see any sign of him saying anything - whilst away - if the plan was for him to declare his loyalty he'd have done that when they launched the shirt. With Chelsea in the US and us in RSA - Marwood and Terry's agent are probably doing the deal right now - welll here's hoping.

They will make terry go on kit unveilings and stuff like that to force his hand into putting in the transfer request . Same way there telling the press ever 2 minutes hes not for sale .
If he wasnt for sale why wouldnt terry just come out and say it . He hasnt spoken to a press since this started as he will be obliged by the club hes on contract to .
There just atogonising him i reckon into putting in that transfer request as they will have a salary that goes up until 2012 to pay out if they accept the deal .....................and yes i want him here im not bothered about his funny eyes noel

We've all got different opinions about this Terry 'transfer'.
My own personal view is that he is/was open to talking to us but that Chelsea will give him a few extra quid & he'll end up staying in London.
Hope i'm wrong obviously but it's all been a bit of laugh seeing the media frenzy anyway.

It goes without saying that we'd like to sign him, but it's CFC who must be desperate to move on - we can be relaxed about it, and enjoy undermining what is rapidly becoming a rival top 5 club.

Ancelotti, Ballack, Cech & Deco have all more or less said they hope Terry stays or think he's going to stay but that's hardly some sort of definitive proof though is it? It's almost as if they have been pushed forward by Chelsea and told to be as positive as possible.

And I keep thinking back to the Press Conference a couple of days ago. Why did Terry look so glum and why didn't Terry the club captain say anything after announcing a big sponsorship deal? Is it because he didn't want to talk to the media or Chelsea didn't want him to talk to the media or something else?

Terry must be interested in speaking to City or by saying nothing he is helping stoke up the interest to aid him achieve a bigger wage packet.

I spoke to my pal in the press earlier this week, he didn't have any inside info but his view was that Terry is angling for more cash but he gets the impression that the Russians resent Terry for holding them over a barrel like he's doing right now.
