You're being a tad harsh on mp there. Dave Allen was a master of comedy; his delivery was bang on the money. Very few of the great unwashed could match him. Watch the clip of him telling the story of the father teaching his child how to read a watch. The likes of Bishop, MacIntyre, Carr (both of them), Miranda etc would sell their souls to Satan to be half as funny as Allen was.
