Joke thread

Time to do silly book titles …
Body searches by Pat Down.
Reflections of a Russian porn star by Onya Bacyabitch.
The Trots by dia rhea.
The broken window by Eva Brick.
A history of Welsh comedy by Dai Laffin
Danger by Luke Out
Advantages by Benny Fishall.

flange was a made up collective noun in this sketch which actually found its way into academic papers later on

Brilliant!

I absolutely loved NTNOCN.

My Monty Pythons.

The four of them made a great team, and some of the sketches are now legendary.

No, a "flange of gorillas" is not the correct term; a group of gorillas is correctly called a band, troop, or sometimes a whoop. "Flange of baboons" was a term invented for a comedy sketch, which later led to people mistakenly using it for gorillas

Not a joke but did make me laugh on temu you can buy a metal plate of a City fan there meant to look like dolls .Next to the dolls are accessories medals trophies ×3 and also a badge with 115 on and what looks like an oil well:)

I remember Stephen Fry - who'd been present when they'd settled upon the word 'flange' because it sounded slightly rude - said that he was amazed to see it in a list of collective nouns published in The Times, of all places.

Tut, tut...
