You don't need a parachute to go skydiving. You need a parachute to go skydiving twice.
Must be a sight to behold, like Braveheart and Roy Orbison rolled into one.MP's hair is even more lustrous, or so he would have us believe.
'tis the stuff of legend.Must be a sight to behold, like Braveheart and Roy Orbison rolled into one.
It wasn't Peter West but Brian Johnson who was supposed to have made that comment. There's no record of it and Johnson himself said he didn't know. Henry Blofield said he didn't say it. Johnson's son said he didn't say it. Who knows...great quote though. There's more: Peter West (cricket). "The bowler's Holding - the batsman's Willee."
John Arlott (cricket). "It's Afaq To Knight at the Nursery End."
David Coleman (athletics). "Quantarena of Cuba opens his legs and shows the world his class."
"It's the Russian pole vaulter coming over the satellite" Mexico Olympics
Sadly, it's an urban myth.It wasn't Peter West but Brian Johnson who was supposed to have made that comment. There's no record of it and Johnson himself said he didn't know. Henry Blofield said he didn't say it. Johnson's son said he didn't say it. Who knows...great quote though.
John Rice was bowling and the Irishman Andy Murtagh collected the defensive shot.Sadly, it's an urban myth.
Wisden have trawled their records, and have found that Holding never bowled to Willey
