Joke thread

Mike and Bernie Winters were about as funny as woodworm in a cripple's crutch. Ken Platt, Al Read, Jimmy Clitheroe and Dick Emery (a euphanism?) were pretty dire too

Simpler….maybe but better no no.
Compare Britain in the 60s say to now. Today, there is better health, longer life, less hunger, better housing etc etc. Sure there are still problems but we go forward by degrees. On a global scale, real poverty in Asia and elsewhere is much less and the internet provides info which is the first step to betterment. I could go on but my point is clear.
