Not only for the Blackburn goal but on many occasions didn't win enough in the air for a man of his size and experience. I'm not saying he was the only one as Nastasic didn't cover himself in glory but felt he let a team from the league below us get the better of him. On a bobbly pitch like today he really does make the heart miss a beat when he has to make a pass or control it.

Great player for us in title winning season and will never forget that but his time is up. Not sure what will happen now but can be sure he won't be here next season, especially with Rekik earning rave reviews.

Just don't agree.Watched the goal again and I wouldn't attach much if any blame to him.It's what can happen with zonal marking.Negredo was the man given a specific marking role but switched off when the ball didn't go to Dann.Add a shocking mistake from Pants and ....oh yes it was all Lescott's fault.

I would have him as by a street our best defender today as Nastasic was really awful but because he is young he is allowed so much leeway. He will just have to live with being disliked I guess because he " doesn't look comfortable on the ball"

The goal was a combination of mistakes but the first was Lescotts. If you are happy for one of our centre halfs to give away free headers on goal from one ball into the box then your understanding of defending is completely different from mines.

We play a zonal defensive system and it's well know that a perfect cross can cause real problems.Joleon is one given his area to defend and it was one of those crosses he couldn't get to but the man attacking could and did.He headed it straight at our keeper who handled it like a grenade.It's interesting that only on here is Lescott getting almost all the blame but in the media and with football pundits it's all down to Pantillimon.

Maybe they know nothing! Maybe we know why Lescott get's all the blame on here.

Because he knows fully well the attention will be drawn away from the performance and onto the fans. He's simply passing the bucket.

I don't agree with turning against players at games, their performance says it all at times.

I think lescott has served well but time to go at end of season. At the level our team now plays we need confidence on the ball and players that can see a move from any position that they play in.

Agreed mate he shouldn't do that - I am sure that some of the fans voicing their opinion are similarly on over £100k per week Joleon - Man up for goodness sake. Fans are passionate and often say things in the heat, a bit like having a winge during a game but shaking hands after - heck you have some compensation for that and some of these fans earn less in a year than you do in a week. what you have done is a cheap shot if indeed it is you and not a fake account.
