For years our fans have been class. The rags have had it ripped out of them for having shit , arrogant, band- wagon fans. Do we need to worry that in this new era we are also attracting such a type of fan. Yes there are always a few idiots like with Lescott but I fear as things progress these idiots will become more prevelant.
20% of our fans have always been needy wankers

I don't know why people are so precious about this clapping fans at the end of a game.

The minute that final whistle went yesterday I was off as were thousands of others.

I wouldn't have known if the players had clapped or not.

The players were probably pissed off with their own performances and most of the fans near me were certainly pissed off with their performances and having to go and fork out for A replay

What does it matter?

Lescott is a fucking disgrace, 7,000+ City fans turned up to watch that shite and because 1!!! Idiot abused him, he didn't thank the rest of us.

May not be popular on here I know but it angers me so much.
So any player who doesn't come over and clap the away end ever is a disgrace?
Especially one who seemed to be upset at the time

Behave.
He was right to be upset. He played poorly and was at fault for the goal.

I stay behind at most games and l'd prefer it if the players came over and thanked the fans.

Just seen on twitter a video from yesterday where all the Leeds players and manager went over and got dogs abuse so there's no pleasing some

Same as our fans at Blackburn in the cup in 07. Some fans were that angry at their inept display that I think they would have attacked them had they got any closer.

Emotions boil over at football sometimes. Its what makes it the passionate game it is.

Was there that day and the atmosphere became toxic and the players copped for it.
You see teams come to our place and most seem to go over and thank the fans, it's a nice gesture that's all

I agree for those that like it then fair enough. Doesn't bother me either way. As long as they do their job on the pitch that's good enough for me.

That 07 cup game was a very bad day all round!

Regardless of a bad game or not acknowledgement would have been good. The arsenal team managed it after they had been thrashed 6-3

I don't think that was a collective action: Ozil.

Ah I missed that one, my point is most teams do it at our place, would it been to hard yesterday ?
