I'd agree with all of that ......

the only trouble for him being Fergies unequalled record at Old Trafford ...... if Mourinho couldn't keep that going , rag fans would quickly get disgruntled , and questions would be asked about his ability , or whether he was the right choice ....... he wouldn't have any other option , if he went there , than to 'instantly' keep it going ...... and he needs to realise that first and foremost!

That's the same as anyone else who'll follow bacon face, the only difference between them and Mourinho is that Mourinho is clearly the most suitable man for the job and the odds of him not being successful at united are slim and none

It is , but Mourinho has made his own bed by claiming that few managers , if any , are better than him ........ he wouldn't have any other choice than to be successful at United , or his 'street-cred' would be tarnished , and following in Fergies footsteps certainly won't be easy , even for someone with his confidence ....... if he came here and built this average to good side into a successful outfit , isn't that even more of an achievement than keeping an already highly successful side like United going???

In an interview i heard last night on the bbc, He wasnt impressed with either Chelsea or United. In a nut shell said both where no where near as good as when he was in the premiership.

He wasnt complimantary to United or Fergie.

Having Chelsea in the equation suits two agendas.

Mourinho keeps the pressure on Ancelotti to win the Champions League, a rirect rival.

It kickstarts the leverage on various options.

I suspect Chelsea is the only club to worry about if Jose quits Real.

Listened to Jose's interview on Talkshite this morning. The guy just oozes class.

"Don't be scared to say you want to win"...are you listening Bobby?

Dear Sheihk,

Please break the bank for this guy.

Yours truly

Did he really say that? Sounds like he's having a dig at Mancini with that quote. I respect people who like Mancini and call for stability, but there's not a shadow of a doubt in my mind that Mourinho is the man for the job.

Astute point, and I hope highly relevant.

In other words, the best route to him getting an astronomical salary is for any club interested in him to believe they are in competition with another.

Particularly effective if the owner of said interested club is one of the richest men in the world ;-)

Mancini is doing great for me, not got his first full season finished yet, we'll be even better next season after our newest signings have got their first season out the way and everyone gets a full pre-season.

You on the crack pipe?
