Makes more sense to me to sign a midfielder to replace Mahrez, considering the winger market is pretty dire. Bernardo and Foden as RW options, and for midfield: Kev, Kovacic, new signing and McAteeYes. Someone within is adamant we will go in for him. Cherki is another name mentioned recently.

City finalising deal for Gvardiol with RB today. Hopeful of announcement end of today.
