We will get him for £70 -£80 mill I reckon. Think he has the potential to become a left sided Stones. At 21 he’ll make mistakes but so did Stones. Think in years to come he’ll look the bargain Sones and Dias do.
Only draw back is he might only have Peps coaching for two years.

All rounder. Ruben like potential in defence. In many other ways, like a beefy Akanji. I'll say that word again; Beefy. Two good feet. Definitely quick once he gets going. There's some footage of him bringing the ball out this year, it's really quite impressive how quick and sure footed he is. Second video a minute in, if you want to get to that.




I reckon his potential for us is sky high.

He’s exceptional for 21 years old.

He was in the World Cup team of the tournament in Qatar. He played well against Morocco twice, who had a great tournament too. Once in the group stage and once in the 3rd place playoff, where he scored Crotias first goal. But he really shone in the games against Belgium and Brazil, who as we know, have quality players.

He’s very good on the ball, short passing, long passing, dribbling etc. Initially he actually played as a left wing back and as a central midfielder for Dinamo Zagreb youth team. But they moved him to centre back, and that’s when he really caught everyone’s attention.

His defensive side is good too, his reading of the game is top notch and he’s got strong leadership abilities for such a young guy. Hes also great in the air and a goal threat, as we saw when he scored against us in the CL.

He’s a proper City type defender, that could possibly be moulded into a midfielder like John Stones in the future.

I’m not sure what the plan with him would be, I can’t imagine we’d pay so much for a squad player. So it’s possible he might be considered as a stronger alternative to Ake or Akanji. He may play a mixture of games as a left back and a centre back.

Have a feeling this guy will be ‘Pep’s latest trick’ - with him and stones in the side we could look even more fluid and if he can go round the outside of Grealish and give us more balance too, then fantastic.
