Pace shouldn't be an issue if he can read the game as well as our other centre backs. If any centre back needs a lightning quick burst to reach an opponent then they've already made a mistake.

Like I say its only a concern, nothing I will lose sleep about. As immense as Ruban was I wonder if Stones playing the hybrid role negated this & we've stopped playing the risky backline on the half way line

Walkers clocked at 37 odd, so not quite, but anything 33 or over is quite quick. Not lightning. So that’s a good indication of him being rapid for a centre back
