OK. Missed.

Can’t believe teams across Europe aren’t interested in Laporte. Not having that. The transfer fee might be putting clubs off, but there has to be lots of interest in Laporte.
Fee and salary are kinda big. Plus no top team need a cb of that caliber.

Jack Gaughan said that this transfer doesn’t depends on Laporte going. Plus, there are no teams interested in Laporte.
Aren’t there? You know this how? Genuinely interested in how folks have got the contacts to make these statements.

Yes, we have. That’s the sum we earned from winning the treble.
There is no extra payment for winning a treble. That 300M will be made up of monies from winning the CL, FA cup and PL. It will be more than last year (as we didn't win the CL or FA cup) but it won't be 300M more.

Maybe 35-50M more than we won last year at a guess.

I think he’ll go out on Loan.

Sorry to appear dumb, but who is Jack and how has he become the MCFC mouthpiece please? Just need to be able to judge credibility on such important issues. Thanks.
Nobody knows if any club need a CB like Laporte, or that calibre, (Not your post). No one can know that, but as of now no contact made. I suspect he’ll go on loan, AM have enquired about a loan previously.

Jack Gaughan writes for the DM, he absolutely has contacts at City, he did say Gvardiol coming in isn’t dependent on Laporte going.

Jack Gaughan is a reporter for the Daily Mail and it appears he’s one of reporters City usually speaks to about all kinda of stuff in the media.

Always gets his stuff spot on.

So our turnover was say around 600m last season so you telling me it’s going to be 900m this season?

You enter champions league and minimum you can earn is 50/60m

League position be the same money as last season

Fa cup an extra 5m

Yes we earned that money this season but last season we earned a lot we won the league and got to the semi final of champs league..

WTF has happened with Laporte?
I really rated him when he first arrived.
Then he got that injury. Came back well, fell out with the French boss and became Spanish.
In and out ever since to be fair.
Seems a bit aloof at times in the training videos on City tv - though that’s hardly a good gauge.
All personal thoughts of course, him and Ruben look like Rolls & Royce at times, the way that John Stones has been (FOC alert) Steve Austen reinvented has been one of the greatest single things I have ever seen in nearly 50 years.
I am glad that any deals done aren’t dependent on Laporte leaving who knows he may still have a future at City. Doubt it though.

No way is it going up 300M. Difference between winning CL and being a semi-finalist is about 12M Euros. As you say, PL will be more or less the same. Not sure what we earnt from the FA cup in comparison to last year but it won't be a great deal more.

We might have won 300M from the treble but that won't be a huge amount more than last season's prize money. Maybe an extra 30M at best I would have thought.

He’s a class player but he’s up against world class performing players. He’s been unlucky with timings of injuries also at times, just as he finds form he falls again and then getting spot back from Dias, Stones, Ake, Akanji and so on is very tough.

That’s what I posted and yep we probably earned an 30m clear of last years Money! Reports though say we going to break the 700m turnover that tells me it’s probably an extra 50m we have earned..
