Definitely possible.Maybe pep is going to play gvardiol in beside Rodri!

Or stones, permanently.Definitely possible.
No, definitely not. I accept you can't stand still but I dont think central defence needs strengthening. You see thats the kind of response that both Liverpool and the Rags managers dwelt on. Stay with the old guard and they wont let us down.Far better to bring new players in.You`re stuck in the 1970/80s if you think that squad rotation is a bad thing.
WOW a massive £1.58 per home game. Worth every fucking penny jrb. ;)
I agree but if Josko replaces Laporte, note that Aymeric didn't play much whilst Ake was much improved, Dias was a warrior and leader, Akanji was multi faceted and Stones was.....Johnny Stones. Plus there will be games when Kyle and Rico will play.Because standing still and not strengthening the team leaves us making the same mistake as dippers and scum have made in the past. Always strengthen from a position of power .
He's not just strengthening central defence though, is he?No, definitely not. I accept you can't stand still but I dont think central defence needs strengthening.
The issue for Laporte is he’s basically only able to play the middle CB role in the 3-2 build up. Stones and Gvardiol have versatility and I think Gvardiol may even be tested in the Stones role sometimes.Whilst he isn't the second coming of Vincent Kompany and the fee does seem excessive he is good enough as an Eric Laporte replacement (although it is slightly disappointing on how that has ended).
I think Pep is thinking about the Champions League and how best to stop a Madrid attack led by Mbappe. You’d assume Stones and Dias are guaranteed starters so interested to see what Pep’s cooking
32 getting a loan and 32 is coming in, you mean?Get your bets on 32.
Still a quality CB regardless of his perceived lack of versatility. The issue for Laporte is he’s basically only able to play the middle CB role in the 3-2 build up. Stones and Gvardiol have versatility and I think Gvardiol may even be tested in the Stones role sometimes.
Check the dates of the two tweets mate!No bid yet. Again!
I’m sure they will run with whatever number they think makes us look the least flattering.Lol, this will be a signing where the transfer fee varies from the media morons. 77,88, 100 m been mentioned already
City want Gvardiol no matter who goes but suspect Laporte will go, think it’ll be a loan away for Laporte is other clubs know we want to get rid.City must know Laporte is on his way, otherwise I'm not sure we'd have taken the risk of signing Gvardiol. Not seen a lot of him, what are his strengths?
Not necessarily. Gomez is moving up to the wing position. Walker could be leaving too. There is plenty of space to go around next season.City must know Laporte is on his way, otherwise I'm not sure we'd have taken the risk of signing Gvardiol. Not seen a lot of him, what are his strengths?
