What you mean other clubs only know about City's revenue because an employee of City mention it. Like its not published in accounts, the prize money on offer for the competitions we won is not in the public domain, you mean leaders of other clubs cant look at published accounts and do maths? Our playing staff are on good money but with huge incentive based bonus deals, they will have been paid out in full last season and I would bet that will have taken much of the price money won.

We know the revenue every year, we plaster it all over the web sight and the profit which is the figure that matters for available spending , £41 mill profit from £600 mill revenue less than 10% profit very quickly becomes a loss if a tight check isn't kept on spending and income.We will buy Gvardiol. and we will IMO have a squad as good if not better than last seasons.

Revenues of £700mill according to Soriano, current transfers in and out are against player wise, and wages are a positive reduction for the club.

True but majority of that will be covered by the increase in sponsor money on a achievements written into sponsors.. City ain't daft they'll know we likely to win stuff and players will get bonus on us winning trophies so they will have must of that covered..

Everyone says that we have a set price etc.. which is great but it could be problematic if we have cases where we negotiate for a player who’s all in on joining us and the deal doesn’t go through. This can cause players in the future to second guess committing to joining city as they don’t know if we can close the deals or not.

That could be problematic as the club always targets players who want to join city and only city.

How did he get the post? is he regarded as the best at what he does - it seems our owners must think so. Is he the Adrian Newy of football?
Hired as a negotiator only I assume. So the board and Pep tell him what they want and it’s his sole job to sort it out. Problem is, he doesn’t seem to me to have the success at that that I’d like to see.

Some without doubt has come from sponsors but not all and I would imagine the total will be a very large sum.

I have no issue whatsoever with incentive contracts , it's the only way but it is also a factor in terms of FFP, one we should not forget.

as far as i know txiki is the director of football,incharge of scouting across all our teams, i'm not sure he actually negotiates anything , that is left to omar berrada(sp)who For his current role, Omar is responsible for managing and optimising group football operations for almost 100 teams across 11 clubs on 5 continents, managing several departments across CFG including player transactions
