BREAKING: Spanish football manger Juan Manuel Lillo, currently in charge of Chinese club Qingdao Huanghai FC is set to be appointed as Pep's number two. Lillo became the youngest ever La Liga manager in 1992 when he took over at Salamanca. Pep is a long-term admirer.


Has worked with Pep before and respects him. Good sign that Pep is staying for abit longer maybe?

Don't think so he's very much a Pep assistant. Think it's more likely means Pep staying. Any new coach would bring their own team in.
 
Going off the posts about staying 1 year at clubs then moving on to another sounds like it could be the same here,hope it isn’t and doesn’ mean he’s a one season stop gap for pep to see out his last year ..
 
I imagine at this stage that Khaldoon and Tixi have some idea of what Pep is thinking going forward into his last season, so if they are bringing in a guy who Pep admires and looks on as a mentor, then I would think that Pep fancies it a bit longer, otherwise what's the point ?
