When do you see Pep resting Rodri for him? Copenhagen at home and The sweet, sweet Carabao?
No as I said I think we're switching to a double pivot with either Kev or Bernardo in the ten position and any two of Silky, Rodri, Phillips and Bernardo deeper. Gives more tactical flexibility and suits the squad better. Not a prediction btw, this has been happening for a year.

I hear you and maybe Phillips has been unlucky with the timing of his injuries, but he’s not been trusted for any length of time in an “open” game.

Maybe an injury will allow him to be trusted more.

Similar situation with Alvarez, really.

Oh Alvarez is definitely going to be a starter going forward, whether wide right or as a false nine.

I do wonder if he’ll start at Anfield and buzz around for 60 minutes before Haaland comes on and bags a hat trick when the dippers tire.
Oh with Van Dijk fading and a striker that's physically getting better than him I'll be disappointed if Alf's little boy only gets 3.

It’ll be down to how important Pep deems the press to be.

It‘s obvious it’s worse this year so far with EBH, but he scores tons.

A dilemma.
