The only players Bayern usually gets for free are those that they just get for the bench. Sometimes this players develop into very good players even for the starting eleven - sometimes it is "dross" that goes elsewhere after a period of time.

He's only 19 and an exceptional talent for his age, any comparison with established players like Gundo and Debruyne is unjustified imo
